Uptime management and price updates
The CONSTI crypto price feeds come with a 24/7 uptime and are designed to be highly available, failsafe, and resilient. Nevertheless, a price feed could theoretically fail for a number of reasons, such as:
Cloud Problems
- power outage in the cloud data center
- cloud infrastructure has connectivity issues
- email server is malfunctioning or down
- SFTP server is malfunctioning or down
- API endpoint is malfunctioning or down
- ...
Data Source Problems
- an exchange is down
- an exchange is delivering corrupt or false data
- an exchange is de-listing a needed currency
- ...
Data Aggregation Problems
- API endpoint programming error
- data distribution error
- ...
In case price feeds are unavailable, CONSTI has implemented quality initiatives which are part of its policies:
- The customer will be informed about the service disruption.
- The service disruption will be recorded in the actions log.
- If a customer is receiving market data via email and the desired data cannot be delivered, such email will be delivered again to the customer as soon as the email system will function again. The customer can trigger the email delivery for a past date in the customer portal.
- If a customer is receive market data via file delivery (such as SFTP) and the desired data cannot be delivered, such file will be delivered again to the customer as soon as the file delivery system will function again. The customer can trigger the file delivery for a past date in the customer portal.
- CONSTI will assess all service interruptions to mitigate further issues from similar incidents.
