Junior Backend Developer

CONSTI is in search of a Junior Backend Developer to contribute to various market research initiatives centered on cryptocurrencies, digital asset exchanges, and market trends. We are seeking an individual with robust development abilities and a keen investigative mindset. The Junior Backend Developer will play a pivotal role within our organization by delivering client-facing applications and providing crypto expertise to our internal tech and product teams. You should have a passion for digital assets and must be self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrating sustainable coding practices in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, as well as scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Employing proper Git practices including branching, code reviews, and versioning.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation alongside feature delivery.
• Embracing iterative development methodologies to produce durable, concise, and clear engineering solutions.
• Utilizing project planning methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to communicate progress and align deliverables with company timelines.
• Effecting coordinated changes across various levels of systems including software, data, and infrastructure.

Your Profile

• 1-3 years of experience as a software developer analyst within traditional finance, consulting, or cryptocurrency-focused firms; candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds in other roles/industries with strong crypto expertise will also be considered
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Object-Oriented Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# or at least another strongly-typed programming language
• Understanding of agile methodologies, Scrum, etc.
• Knowledge of Linux and cloud engineering principles.
• Experience in setting up build processes using tools like dotnet build, Maven, Gradle, Go build, etc.
• Ability to manage environment variables, configuration files, etc.
• Understanding of IP ranges, ports, DNS, TLS, etc.
• Familiarity with relational databases, key-value stores, document databases, etc.
• Ability to write scripts for build and administrative tasks using languages like Bash, JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Experience with Azure preferred.
• Work remove, availability to participate in calls during CET business hours
• Very good proficiency in English
