Crypto Data Architect

CONSTI is in search of a Crypto Data Architect to contribute to various product development initiatives centered on cryptocurrencies, digital asset exchanges, and market trends. We are seeking an individual with robust research abilities and a keen investigative mindset. The Crypto Data Architect will play a pivotal role within our organization by delivering client-facing research content and providing crypto expertise to our internal tech and product teams. You must have a passion for digital assets and be self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain logical and physical data structures, oversee naming standards, data governance, data quality, toolkits, and development environments, including the management of ETL developers and DBAs.
• Establish an abstraction layer to facilitate adaptability to changes in underlying databases (schemas/DB engines) without affecting applications.
• Construct and manage highly available, data-driven, and crypto-focused databases and ETLs to support cryptocurrency research for financial institutions.
• Design and implement tables, stored procedures, views, cron jobs, and SQL solutions within a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Translate intricate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions tailored to specific subject matters.
• Automate testing processes (unit, functional, integration) and delivery pipelines, actively participate in prioritization and review endeavors.
• Uphold best practices in Agile methodologies, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
• Contribute directly to a rapidly expanding startup with elevated client expectations

Your Profile

• 4-5+ years of experience in database architecture, encompassing proficiency in data modeling, physical database schemas, monitoring, database tuning, and developer support; prior experience in financial services/FinTech is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Educational background in computer science, applied mathematics, data analysis, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL; familiarity with SingleStore is preferred, and advanced experience with databases is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) and shell/bash scripting.
• Adept at collaboration and self-initiation, with a solid grasp of abstraction principles.
• Experience engaging with various crypto protocols/blockchains and assets is advantageous
• Work remove, availability to participate in calls during CET business hours
• Very good proficiency in English
